Dana was the toast of the art world – a hot property. After her latest exhibition bombs, her paranoia and depression send her boyfriend packing and she is admitted to a psychiatric hospital. It might be the best place for her… but her insurance will only pay for ten days. Knowing next to nothing about him, she takes on the personality of baseball star Darryl Strawberry – known for having the sweetest swing in baseball. As unlikely friendships and strange alliances develop, Dana coaches a patient with homicidal tendencies on the use of negative space, while alcoholic Michael and stalker Gary coach her on Strawberry’s stats. Together the trio concoct a plan to fool the doctors into believing she really is crazy.
