Join us after the matinee of <em>Decision Height</em> on <strong>Sunday, March 15th</strong>, for a special talk back session featuring Patricia Pearson, award-winning author of the book, <em>Fly Girls</em> about the Women Airforce Service Pilots! There will be copies of her books available for purchase.

Award-winning author P. O’Connell Pearson—Patty is a former high school history teacher and history content specialist and a native of the Washington, DC, area. Always enthusiastic about sharing historical stories, she earned her MFA in writing for young people from Lesley University and now writes non-fiction history for ages ten and up. She has published four books with Simon and Schuster Books for Young Readers. The first, <em>Fly Girls: The Daring American Women Pilots Who Helped Win WWII</em>, is the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots and their struggle to serve their country in its hour of need. <em>Fly Girls</em> has been recognized with the 2020 Grand Canyon Readers Award for Tween Nonfiction, and named a Best of 2018 by A Mighty Girl, Best of 2019 by Bank Street Books, and Best of Children's Non-Fiction Books – History by Tutorful UK.
