Get in the holiday mood with a Christmas tale among the palms – the weather outside is frightful, but it’s above 100 instead of below zero. And while there are three wise men, they’re more like wise guys.
Auditions will be from cold readings
(script sides will be provided on screen during the online auditions).
We are looking for actors who can play (with some possible doubling):
- Two males in their 50s or 60s: The better businessman, the better man
- Two women in their 50s or 60s: One of dreams, one of schemes
- Two males in their 30s to 40s and a male in their 20s to 30s: Affectionately known as #3011, #6817 and #470
- A female in her 20s: The ingenue
- Two males in their 20s: A cad and a lad
As with most Readers’ Theatre readings, we will keep the number of rehearsals to 2-3 leading up to run through on the day of performance November 24th, focusing on developing your character and comic timing rather than memorizing lines, or blocking.
