Blacksmith Derek Turner knows the living history museum of Old Bristol Village has its problems – snippy tour guides, gruff interpreters and an over-eager bailiff who insists on ‘arresting’ patrons – but he doesn’t think another consultant, especially Cora Harrington and her ‘different approach’ is the answer. Derek would prefer to preserve his ancient trade and be left alone, but he doesn’t anticipate how effective Cora is and she even draws him in – in more ways than one. When an unlikely turn of events threatens their fragile alliance, will they find a way to save their careers – and find love – over the anvil?
